Guest Speaker

I remember my first public speech to the Business and Professional Women in Trenton when I was a new Chamber Manager.  It was an unmitigated disaster.  I recoverd by throwing out my prepared speech and just speaking from the heart.

During the five years I had that job I became a proficient public speaker.  I was obligated to speak as MC and host at luncheons, after work social gatherings, grand openings, conferences, board meetings, and public events.  

In my years in the travel industry I have hosted all of our companies Consumer nights. Now I'm taking this skill and going on the road.  Using the step by step guide I developed for my staff on How to Close a Sale. I can quickly teach your people some fundamental skills they need to improve their sales.

I believe most Sales Representatives are lazy.  They take the easy way out by  grabbing the mouse and hide behind the screen.  They quote the first thing that pops up. They have to learn to get out from behind the screen and engage with the cusotmer.  They need to:

  • Get organized
  • Present themselves professionally
  • Observe the customer for clues, signals, tells
  • Ask the right questions
  • Over come road blocks
